She had little interest in Quinnie until lately. He has moved to a new barn, closer to home, and we spend a bit more time with him than we were spending before, so Lanie sees him a lot more. Now we get home, and any horse she has (rocking horse, stuffed horse, whatever), is Quinnie. She has named every horse she has after the one horse we have... Alas, it is not fair to have a girl just pet a horse and not get up on him, right? So, today she sat on Mr. Quinn for all of 10 seconds. She wanted to make him move forward, but we had to remind her that we don't ride horses if we don't have helmets on... there aren't too many helmets that fit 2 year olds... aww, too bad. She will have to wait a few more years to become the worlds cutest and greatest equestrian... ;-)
I love that she was not even the least bit afraid of sitting on a horse who stands 16.2 hh... that is my brave little kiddo!
