Just a quick, dumb question

So, if the Chinese birth chart says that I am going to have a girl, and that my chances of having a girl are better than having a boy, then why do all the asian people keep coming up to me, touching my belly, and telling me I am having a boy? Seriously.... not that ANY of it is science...
